Pet Focused Obedience Class

Four levels to allow progression at your own pace

  1. Fundamentals

Kickstart your foundation training with our hybrid program. Private sessions conducted at your home and in your local area ensure you hit the ground running in a class environment. Equip yourself and your dog with solid basics to help you live, work and play together.

In this program you will learn:
- Establish excellent engagement
- Develop effective communication and create meaningful rewards
- Loose leash walking and core obedience skills
- How to play with your dog

Cost: $360 (inc. 2x private lessons + 4x consecutive group classes)

2. Development

This level is open to teams who have successfully passed the Fundamentals Program. Development will progress your obedience using the 3 D’s of dog training: Distance, Duration and Distraction. Add new tools to your handler’s toolkit and maximise motivation in your training.

In this program you will learn:

  • Develop the “heel” in addition to a reliable, relaxed leash walk

  • Level up your play and core obedience

  • Refine your handling skills

  • Use environmental challenges to benefit your training.

3. Reliability

The next step in building real life training requires real life skills! Achieve training outcomes which are reliable under higher levels of distraction. Navigate the world with ease, with training you can count on.

In this program you will learn:

  • Proof all your skills under higher levels of distraction

  • Create more complex pictures and diverse challenges for your dog

  • Finesse handling skills for fluent communication

  • Tackle more difficult real-life environments with confidence

Excellence

Excellence Program is designed to take you and your dog to the gold standard of training. Apply all of the technical skills and learning developed through our prior levels to achieve clear, precise behaviours and off-leash reliability under high distraction.

In this program you will learn:

  • Develop more confidence in the reliability of your dogs behaviour

  • Take the leash off!

  • Create more challenging training scenarios that push you and your dog
